2050 futurecasting tool from DECC

I have looked at this tool from DECC, and created my version of a 2050 UK which is 80% less CO2 producing than currently.

I have focussed on bringing down energy demand from buildings, converted a lot of cars to electrical power, introduced a lot of renewables on and offshore, and farmed an area half the size of Wales for biofuels.

It is an easy to use introduction to the scale of changes that we need to make across the piece in the UK, although it doesn’t cover aviation or shipping. There should be a slider for reducing the import of useless tat that we don’t need, and showing the impact that has on worldwide emissions!
